Exclusive: Watch planets in motion-Music video from To My Boy-Directed and Edited by Matt Freeth
Gosh I love this. My colleague Matt Freeth, editor at Aspect Film and Video & Rebel Virals and formerly of Collision Films has just finished editing this new music video for the electro pop duo ‘To My Boy’. The concept of the rotating planets in the video sits in line with the group’s album, ‘The Habitable Zone’. The title, say the duo, ‘came to us one night when we felt like we were being dragged off the surface of the grassy globe into outer space.’
Matt used Adobe After Effects, Apple FCP Motion, Maxon: Cinema4D and Photoshop to create this video. It was shot on location near Swindon.
Among other music videos, Matt edited the amazing ‘Blood’ video for the Editors in (2005) and the Mystery Jets ’ The Boy Who Ran Away’ (2006).
